From April 27th to 29th, 2019, the "2019 Henan Province Casting and Forging Industry Annual Conference," hosted by the Henan Province Casting and Forging Industry Association, Henan Foundry Society, and Henan Forging and Pressing Society, was grandly held at the Huaqiang Novotel Hotel in Anyang City. This annual conference aimed to promote industry integration and upgrading, intelligent manufacturing, green development, and quality improvement and efficiency enhancement. Participants collectively analyzed the situation, interpreted policies, shared experiences, promoted technologies, and explored the path for the sustained and healthy development of Henan's casting and forging industry. Over 300 representatives from casting and forging enterprises across the country attended the conference.
Huaxia Bronze Art Forming Technology Research Institute participated in this grand event as the president unit of the Art Casting Professional Committee of Henan Foundry Association, bringing along works such as Huaxia Caiding and Huaxia Hezun 21 pieces of work for exhibition. As soon as the works were displayed, their exquisite beauty and unique craftsmanship attracted a large number of representatives to stop and admire them.
On the afternoon of the 28th, our institute organized the Art Casting Exchange Meeting of the Henan Province Casting and Forging Industry Annual Conference, attended by representatives of council units and industry experts. Professor Ye Shengping from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Professor Nafu Yibao from Nagoya University (Japan Liaison Office of the Art Casting Professional Committee), and many other experts delivered wonderful speeches at the meeting.
Cui Yu and Li Yuzhen from our institute, in the selection organized by the Art Casting Professional Committee of Henan Province Casting and Forging Industry Association, won the title of "Master Craftsman of Henan Art Casting Industry" in the "Henan Art Casting Master Craftsman" selection.
At the "Song of Casting and Forging" reception dinner, the Art Casting Professional Committee of Henan Province Casting and Forging Industry Association organized its first auction event. All four works created by our institute – Huaxia Caiding, Huaxia Hezun, Jixiang (Auspicious Elephant), and Fulu (Lucky Deer) – were successfully auctioned off. The transaction prices also reflected the extremely high artistic and collection value of our institute's works.
Huaxia Bronze Art will continue to make persistent efforts, adhering to the integration of inheritance and innovation, combining traditional Chinese craftsmanship with modern advanced techniques and materials, and advanced equipment and methods, to create more and better works, contributing its part to the promotion and development of traditional Chinese culture.
